Barbara Ann Jones, 90, formerly of Panama, died surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, Aug. 29, 2026.
In accordance with her wishes, the family has chosen cremation. A private family memorial will be held on a future date.
Mrs. Jones was born to parents, Carl and Rachael (nee Durant) McCarty. She married Max L. Jones, with whom she shared 70 years together. They were blessed with three children.
She retired from the Hillsboro School District and was a member of the Panama Baptist Church. She will be remembered and missed by her family and friends.
Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband, Max L. Jones; children, Sonjia K. O’Donnell, Curtis L. Jones and Jonette R. (Patrick) Loddick; grandchildren, Isaak (Elizabeth) Perfetti, Cy (Kari) Perfetti and Alexa Loddick; great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Lillian, Oakley and Kip; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Carl and Rachael; her sisters, Lola, Lora and Lois; and son-in-law, Mark O’Donnell.
