Barbara L. Balsters, 50, died Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2011, at her home in Williamson. No services were held. Private interment of her cremains will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Staunton. Lesicko Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
She was born May 9, 1961, in Williamson, the daughter of the late Harley O. and Maxine J. (Hurtt) Williams. She married Kent E. Balsters on May 31, 1990, and he survives.
Mrs. Balsters was employed as a laundry aide at Heritage Health in Staunton for 18 years.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Steven O. Kampwerth of Williamson and William J. Kampwerth of Benld; a daughter, T. Heather Moreland of Hillsboro; grandchildren, Zoe, Jakob, McKenna, Gianna and Austin; five sisters, Charlotte Dona, Marylee (Williams) Mellentine and Letha Fritz of Staunton, Sharon (Spanky) Calcott of Arkansas and Edna Huette of Williamson; a sister-in-law, Nancy Williams, of Staunton; a father-in-law and mother-in-law, William and Sylvia Honchell of Carlyle; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Balsters was preceded in death by a brother, Fred Williams.
