Barbara Lynn Miller, 43, of Taylorville, died Friday, Dec. 11, 2020, at her home surrounded by family.
Arrangements are pending. Shafer-Perfetti and Assalley Funeral Home in Taylorville is assisting the family.
Ms. Miller was born May 20, 1977, in Springfield, the daughter of Larry G. Miller and Claudia Davis.
She spent the majority of her adult life as a homemaker. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Chicago Cubs fan, and she loved spending time with her family and her dog, Prince.
In addition to her mother, Claudia Skinner of Taylorville, she is survived by fiance, Chris Flaherty of Taylorville; daughters, Sydney Miller of Taylorville and Madison Miller of Morrisonville; grandchildren, Ayva, Myah, Luna, Leo and Major; sisters, Carol (husband Tim) Beiermann of Carrollton, Mary Lee (companion Kirk Spurgeon) Miller of Morrisonville and Lisa M. Harker of Olney; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Bill Skinner, and maternal grandmother, Rosemary Terry.
