Bernadine Joyce Brown, 62, of Murray, KY, formerly of Hillsboro, died on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at Anna Mae Owen Hospice Hospital in Murray, Kentucky.
Services will be held graveside at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 13, at Ramsey Cemetery. Stiehl Dawson Funeral Home of Nokomis is assisting the family with arrangements.
Ms. Brown was born on Aug. 14, 1960, to Espy and Evelyn (Murkin) Brown in Hillsboro. She attended 14 years of schooling and had been employed by Capri IGA in Hillsboro and Hillsboro Junior High School as a teacher’s aide. She was member of Assembly of God Church in Coffeen.
Mrs. Brown is survived by her children, Krista (Jeremy) Gunderson of Hillsboro, Latasha (Michael) Riley of Murray, Kentucky and Jonathan (Samantha Thomas) Williamson of Taylor Springs; grandchildren, Emma Williamson, McKinley Riley, Michael Riley, Jr, Jasmine Hartline, Dallas Hartline, Kendra Thomas, Kylie Thomas and Zackary Williams; great-grandchild, Alaney Hartline; sisters, Mildred (Carl) Morefield of Ramsey and Amanda Wehrle of Greenville; and brother, Jim (Shirley) Brown of Ramsey.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her brother, Danny Brown.
