Betty Ruth (Egbert) Beets, 79, of Chickasha, OK, died on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at home.
A private family ceremony will be held at a later date in Carmi. Sevier Funeral Home in Chickasha, OK is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Beets was born on July 7, 1946, in Carmi, to Wallace (Tom) Egbert and Sarah (McDaniel) Egbert. She graduated from Carmi Community High School in 1964.
She married Stephen Beets on March 9, 1965. They moved to Chickasha, OK, after his time in the U.S. Navy. She worked at PET MILK Foods, Grady Memorial Hospital, The Pet Shop and Grooming, Wee Care Learning and retired from SPA for Special Young Adults. She managed King’s Inn Restaurant and owned the Blue Lounge. She loved cooking and baking for her kids and their friends.
Mrs. Beets is survived by her sons, Greg (Barbara) Egbert, Raymond Beets and A.J. (Jeannie) Beets; beloved grandchildren, Chyrstal (Chris) Martin, Tiffany (Curtis) Boyd, Bradon Egbert, Stephen Beets, Ben Beets, Stephanie Egbert, Destiny Beets, Kammie Shipley and Brayden Provence; great-grandchildren, Cayleigh Martin, Cooper Martin, Aiden Boyd, Jaxon Boyd, Addison Boyd, Barrett Boyd, Lincoln Boyd, a Boyd on the way, Bentley Beets and Nova Beets; siblings, William (Anna) Egbert, Wallace (MaryAnn) Egbert, Glena (Delbert) Kelley, Carol (Van) Naylor of Hillsboro and Michael (Kim) Egbert; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, and parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Robert Egbert, Les Egbert, Larry Egbert and Eddie Egbert
