Billie Jean Stouffe, 68, of Girard, died Saturday, Dec. 19, 2020, at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, Dec. 22, from 2 to 4 p.m at the Girard Community Center. 

Private funeral services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 23, at 1 p.m. at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Girard with the Rev. Marty Nagel officiating. Burial will be held in Oak Hill Cemetery in Palmyra at a later date.

Ms. Stouffe was born Aug. 26, 1952, in Jacksonville, to William “Bill” and Mary (Miner) Stouffe. 

A 1970 graduate of Waverly High School, she was a caregiver for Community Care in Pittsfield for over 14 years. She enjoyed crafts, glow Bingo, quarter auctions and shopping. She loved caring for her grandchildren and family and always attended their sporting events. She was known as “Nan” by everyone in the community.

She is survived by her two sons, Mike (Heather) Barnhouse of Virden and David Beal of Girard; two stepdaughters, Angela (Jamie) Roach of Ocala, FL, and Ashley (Michael) Narankevicius of Leominster, MA; two stepsons, Brian (Shaun) Beal of Farmersville and Jeremy (Dusti) Slightom of Streator; seven grandchildren, Kaylee, Michaeh, Austin, Derrick, Shane, Kalissa and Zeta; 11 stepgrandchildren; one great-grandson, Callen; four stepgreat-grandchildren; brother, Butch (Brenda) Stouffe of Girard; sister, Jackie Stouffe of Waverly; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by stepmother, Faye Stouffe, and brother, Richard Stouffe.

Memorials may be made to the Girard Rescue Squad.
