Billy G. Archer of Litchfield,died Sunday, Dec. 8, 2019, at 4:48 a.m. at his home.
Visitation will be held Thursday, Dec. 12, from 9 to 10 a.m. at Hough and Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Funeral services will follow at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Cedar Ridge Cemetery in Honey Bend.
Mr. Archer was born March 30, 1954, in Cabool, MO, the son of Billy J. and Mary Jean (Underwood) Archer. He married Sharon Lemon, and she survives.
He served in the U.S. Air Force for 13 years. After his discharge, he farmed. He was a truck driver, and later became a driving instructor for Buske.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Billy L. Archer of Mt. Olive; daughter, Shari (Sean) Peterson of Carlinville; granddaughter, Sabrina Florek of Tampa, FL; a brother, Harold (Debbie) Archer of Cabool, MO; and sisters, Terri (Hershel) Shelton of Cabool, MO, and Rita Baab of Willow Springs, MO.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dean, and brother-in-law, Darrell Lemon.
Memorials may be made to the Land of Lincoln Honor Flight.
