Billy Jerome Malloy, 59, of Litchfield, formerly of Coffeen, died Monday, March 27, 2023, in Litchfield.
No services are planned at this time. Hough Funeral Home in Hillsboro is assisting the family.
Mr. Malloy was born on June 25, 1963, in Hillsboro, the youngest son of Carl T. and Jo Ann (Westbrook) Malloy. He married Rhonda Garvin on Nov. 16, 1990, and had one child, Ashley Nicole Malloy. They divorced. He then married Margaret Colleen Campbell in April 2005, and she preceded him in death in December 2016.
He was involved in a motorcycle accident and suffered a traumatic brain injury, and was unable to work for most of his adult life. Prior to his accident, he worked at a pork processing plant in Pana, as well as the Burlington Coat Factory.
Mr. Malloy enjoyed spending time with his brother Jeff in Coffeen and was interested in cowboy hats and western movies. He was a big John Wayne fan.
He is survived by his daughter, Ashley Malloy of Johnston City; grandsons, Sebastian and Xavier Watson, both of Johnston City; and brother, Jeff of Coffeen.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Malloy was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Karl Wayne.
