Brandi Lea Novotny, 38, of Worden, died at 5:43 p.m. Thursday, June 14, 2018, in Troy.
Funeral services will begin at 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 21, at Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton with the Rev. Jimmy Hayes officiating. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
She was born on Jan. 8, 1980, in Hillsboro, the daughter of Mark Novotny and Tammy (Kirkland) Novotny. She was a stay-at-home mom and a loving mother to her children.
She is survived by two daughters, Jossilea and Rylea; her mother, Tammy Novotny (Red Bertels) of Worden; her father, Mark Novotny (Lori Meyer) of Coffeen; a brother, Lucas Novotny of Lincoln, NE; her maternal grandmother, Sandy Lawson of Carlinville; and a great-uncle, Kelly Marcolini of Hillsboro.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Paden DeBardeleben and Derek Tyler Schaake in infancy; paternal grandparents, William E. and Theodora "Tee" Novotny; and her maternal grandfather, Charles "Buck" Kirkland.
