Brian J. Wells, 47, of Decatur, died Friday, April 5, 2019, at his residence.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, May 5, at 2 p.m. at the Fireman's Club on Hillsboro Lake in Hillsboro.
Mr. Wells was born Sept. 12, 1971, in Olney, the son of Michael and Karen (Piper) Wells.
A 1990 graduate of Hillsboro High School, he was a United States Army veteran.
He is survived by two brothers, Michael Wells of Decatur and Kristopher (Jill) Wells of Bloomington; three sisters, Melanie Wells (significant other Nathan Drew)of Panama, Erica (Derek) LeMaster of Edwardsville and Jennifer (Martin) Scribner of Maricopa, AZ; nephews, Colton and Ian; nieces, Macenzie, Maressa, Maryn and Mikayla; and great-niece, Olivia.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
