Bryan Mitchell, 40, of Pana, formerly of Morrisonville, died Friday, Jan. 17, 2020, at 3:10 a.m. at his residence.
Private family ceremonies will be held with Pastor LuAnne Stewart officiating. Interment will follow in Morrisonville Cemetery. Perfetti-Assalley Funeral Home in Morrisonville.
Mr. Mitchell was born Aug. 23, 1979, in Taylorville. He graduated from Morrisonville High School in 1999.
A longtime employee of Christian County Mental Health, he was employed by Macon Resources. He was a past member of the First Presbyterian Church of Morrisonville. He was an avid NASCAR fan.
Mr. Mitchell is survived by his father, Wayne (wife Tammy) Mitchell of Morrisonville; siblings, Emilee Mitchell, Tabitha Mitchell, Andrew Helfrich and Aryonna Mitchell, all of Morrisonville; aunt and uncle, Betty and Charles Angelo of Morrisonville; aunt, Carla Roberts of Warrenton, MO; and cousins, Chad Angelo of Colorado Springs, CO, Kelli Showalter of Rochester and Peggy Phillips of Kirksville, MO.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Buel and Zelma Mitchell; and maternal grandparents, Earl and Helen Jones.
