Camren M. Neisler, 18, of Nokomis, died on Thursday, Oct. 25, 2018, at 1:13 p.m. as a result of an auto accident while driving to his classes at Lincoln Land Community College.

Funeral Mass will be held Monday, Oct. 29, beginning at 10:30 a.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church with the very Rev. Albert Allen VF officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Nokomis. Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home in Nokomis is assisting the family.

Mr. Neisler was born March 3, 2000, in Springfield, to Tim Neisler and Brandy (Seifert) Neisler Chausse.

He recently graduated from Nokomis High School, where he played on the 2012 state championship baseball team and in 2018 on the sectional team, played golf and was a member of the N. Club, Science Club and Fine Arts Club. He was enrolled in courses at Lincoln Land Community College.

Mr. Neisler loved hanging out with friends, golf, playing Xbox and fishing.

He is survived by his parents; stepfather, Brian Chausse of Nokomis; sister, Haily Neisler of Nokomis; brother, Colton Neisler of Nokomis; stepbrother, BJ Chausse of Nokomis; grandparents, Larry and Linda Seifert of Nokomis, Gary Neisler of Hillsboro, Dorothy Neisler of Witt and Diana and Harold Meyers of Litchfield; and great-grandmother, Rowena Hill of Nokomis.
