Carol A. Harris, 72, of Virden, died Friday, April 30, 2021, at Memorial Hospital in Springfield.
Graveside services will be held Monday, May 3, at 3 p.m. in Witt Cemetery in Witt. Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Harris was born Sept. 5, 1948, in Hillsboro, the daughter of Carl and Laura (Lowe) Zepp. She married Charles Robert “Bob” Harris on June 21, 2001, in Springfield, and he survives.
She worked for the State of Illinois in the Department of Rehabilitation Services. She had a bachelor of science degree in education and was a member of the Methodist Church.
Mrs. Harris is survived by her son, Chris Rhoades of Springfield; daughter, Allison Rhoades of Gladstone; and sister, Janice Ramsey of St. Louis, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
