Carol A. Lankutis, 85, of Litchfield died on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2020, at 2:30 p.m. at Heritage Health: Therapy and Senior Care in Litchfield.
Visitation will be held Thursday, Jan. 16, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Litchfield Family Funeral Services. Funeral services will follow, beginning at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Elmwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Lankutis was born Aug. 28, 1934, in Raymond, to William L. and Amelia Sophia (Smith) Watkins. She married George Lankutis on Nov. 1, 1952, in Litchfield, and he preceded her in death on July 15, 2012.
She is survived by her children, Harold (Brenda) Lankutis, James Lankutis, Brenda (Dwayne) Wayman and Lee (Sandy) Lankutis, all of Litchfield; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Lankutis was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Mary Tigner, Edith Elam and Dorothy Cancio.
