Carole Marie Durbin, 83, of Gillespie, died at 10:28 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2022, at HSHS St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, Aug. 6, at Kravanya Funeral Home in Gillespie. Burial was at Cedar Ridge Cemetery in Litchfield. Kravanya Funeral Home in Gillespie assisted the family with arrangements.
Mrs. Durbin was born on Jan. 9, 1939, in Litchfield, to Paul Allen and Helen Irene (Dunham) Lynn. She married Joseph Franklin Durbin on Sept. 28, 1957, in Litchfield. Mrs. Durbin was a homemaker. She enjoyed quilting and cross stitching.
Mrs. Durbin is survived by her husband; children, Rick (Kathi) Durbin of Sawyerville, Debra (Kirk) Brashears of Staunton, Randy (Sherrie) Durbin of Shipman and Lisa (Randy) Brown of Gillespie; grandchildren, Eric, Emily, Nathan, Aaron, Hannah, Adam, Tyler and Whitney; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jack Lynn; and sister, Lola Hall.
