Carolyn Hunt, 81, of Nokomis, died Monday, April 8, 2019, at 12:50 p.m. at her home.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 16, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Sutton Funeral Home in Nokomis. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Ralph Ward officiating. Inurnment will be held in St. Paul Cemetery in Witt at a later date.
Ms. Hunt was born July 14, 1937, in Pana, the daughter of the late Harry and Martha (Carter) Hunt.
She worked as a CNA at Golden Manor in Nokomis for 17 years.
She is survived by her brothers, Wilbur Hunt of Chatham and Wesley Hunt of Canyon Lake, TX; sisters, Barbara Fehrman of Nashville and Patricia Hunt of Nokomis; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Harriet Stanley, Doris Hastings, Norma Jean Ostrow and Mary Lou Lipe; and brothers, Warren and Lloyd Hunt.
