Cary L. Harrison, 54, of Vandalia, died on Friday, May 25, 2018, at HSHS St. John's Hospital in Springfield.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 29, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home in Ramsey. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 30, beginning at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Edmund Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Glendale Cemetery in Fillmore.
Mr. Harrison was born on May 8, 1964, in Vandalia, to Herbert Dennis and Donna L. (Moreland) Harrison. He married Virginnia Louise "Ginny" Cavins on Aug. 18, 2000, in Ramsey, and she survives.
He was formerly employed by Fedders Corporation in Effingham.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his mother of Vandalia; a son, Devin Harrison of Vandalia; stepchildren, Hobie Dixon of Springfield and Brittany Dixon of Vandalia; four brothers, Colin (Gena) Harrison of Ramsey, Chris (Lisa) Harrison of Charleston, Conway Harrison of Bingham and Casey (Tiffany) Harrison of Bayle City; two sisters, Dea (Tim) Fenton of Donnellson and Darla (Doug) Elam of St. Peter; and parents-in-law, Jim and Ruth Cavins of Vandalia.
Mr. Harrison was preceded in death by his father.
