The Lincolnwood volleyball team traveled to Carlinville on Monday, Sept. 16, falling to the host Cavaliers in a three-set thriller.
All three games would be close, with Carlinville taking game one 25-22, only to have the Lancers pull away with game two by a 25-18 final score. Game three would be tooth and nail, but the host Cavies would emerge with a 25-23 victory to hand Lincolnwood just their second loss of the year.

Sidney Glick would lead the way with 15, while Cassie Krager had 13, Lexie Millburg added 12 and Maggie McClelland finished with ten. Madison Krager also had six digs and the Lancers' lone block.
On the attack, McClelland led the way with eight kills, while Katelyn Payne and Cassie Krager finished with six and five respectively. Emme Weller led the team in assists with 13, while Cassie Krager also had seven assists.
