Funeral services for Cecelia A. Tyler, 50, of Litchfield, will be held Saturday, July 21, at Hough & Sons Funeral Home, Hillsboro, at 11 a.m. The Rev. Ed Diveley will officiate. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Litchfield.

Friends may call Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Tyler died at 1:35 p.m. Wednesday, July 18, 2007, at her home.

She was born Sunday, May 19, 1957, in Litchfield, daughter of the late Claude and Martha (Tyler) Jeffers. She attended Litchfield High School and Southside Church in Litchfield. She had been employed by Skeeter Boat Company in Kilgore, TX.

Her first marriage was to Jessie Parish, Sr. They divorced, and he died in 2000. Her second husband, Franklin Tyler, survives her.

Mrs. Tyler leaves a son, Jessie (wife Jennifer) Parish, Jr. of Litchfield; two daughters, Jamie (husband Dewey Jr.) Weller and Kimberly Parish of Litchfield; 14 grandchildren; six sisters, Claudette Jett, Phyllis Jett, and Ada Lane of Litchfield, Ruth Cooper of Langleyville, Ruby Forrest of Taylorville and Mary Scott of Stonington; and five brothers, Jeffery Jeffers of Litchfield, Robert Jeffers of Stonington, John Jeffers of Butler, Charles Jeffers of Hillsboro and Harold Jeffers of Surprise, AZ.

Preceding her in death were two sisters, Marilee Jeffers and Patricia Janssen.
