Charles F. “Fred” Horn, 76, of Ramsey, died on Saturday, April 11, 2020, at his home.

Per his wishes, cremation rites were accorded and private family services will be held at a later date. Miller Funeral Home in Ramsey is assisting the family.

Mr. Horn was born May 24, 1943, in Fillmore, to Charles Edward and Ruby Berneice (Work) Horn. He married Judith Otto in 1965 in Witt. He later married Georgia L. (Cole) White in December 2002, and she survives.

He served his country in the U.S. Navy and was a retired lineman for B&O Railroad Services LLC-Chessie System, Inc. 

Mr. Horn was affiliated with the Catholic faith.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Charles E. “Chuck” Horn of Shumway, Eric Christopher Horn of Donnellson and Dian F. (Deanna) Horn of Herrick; 12 grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and one on the way; ten stepgrandchildren; and sisters, Sandra Dorsey of Shelbyville, Patty Horn of St. Elmo and Debra (Terry) Baldock of Ramsey.

Mr. Horn was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Elaine Torbeck; and brother, George Work.
