Charles L. Randle, 87, of Litchfield, died Friday, Nov. 1, 2019, at Heritage Health Care in Litchfield.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, Nov. 5, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Litchfield Family Funeral Service. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Sunnyside Cemetery in Sorento.

Mr. Randle was born March 14, 1932, near Walshville, the 11th of 12 children of Louis Ray and Margaret Mae (Hicks) Randle. He married Frances Jane White on Oct. 31, 1953, in Greenville, and she survives.

He worked construction for Labor Local #338 out of Wood River, having been a member since 1952, and retiring in 1993. He enjoyed gardening, collecting antiques and attending auctions.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters, Brenda Lee Diveley of Litchfield, Cindy Jane (Don) Williamson of Hillsboro; son, James (Sara) Randle of Litchfield; grandchildren, Jason Williamson, Joshua (Jessica) Schneck, Charlie (Shannon) Diveley, Roger (Bobbie) Diveley, Nathan (Jessica) Diveley, Ben (Trisha) Johnson, Haley (Chris) Glenn and Robin Randle; 17 great-grandchildren; brother, Donald Randle of Olney; sisters-in-law, Elaine Randle of Hillsboro and Betty Edwards; son-in-law, Leroy Kuhl; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by daughter, Paula Kuhl; son-in-law, the Rev. Ed Diveley; granddaughter, Madeline Randle; seven sisters, Pauline Faulkner, Lorene Lay, Lois Payne, Helen Vollintine, Wilma Priddle, Bernice Akeman and Charlotte Titsworth; and three brothers, Kenneth Randle, Maurice Randle and Shirley Randle.

Memorials may be made to Montgomery County Cancer Society.
