Chlorus D. Jarman, Jr., 73

Chlorus Donald Jarman, Jr., 73, of Litchfield, died on Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2020, at 1:55 p.m. at Hillsboro Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

Graveside services will be conducted Monday, Aug. 24, beginning at 2 p.m. at Elm Lawn Cemetery in Litchfield with the Rev. William Wagahoff officiating. Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield is assisting the family.

Mr. Jarman was born Nov. 16, 1946, in Litchfield, to Chlorus Donald and Lena Eileen (Pruitt) Jarman, Sr.

He graduated from Litchfield High School with the class of 1967. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having been stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War.

Mr. Jarman served as a laborer for Elmwood Cemetery Association in Litchfield. He also worked at Worksaver, for the Litchfield Park District, and was a custodian for several years at Litchfield High School.

A member of the First Baptist Church in Litchfield, he enjoyed genealogy.

Mr. Jarman is survived by his son, Donnie (Faye) Jarman, III of Litchfield; brother, Lee (Linda) Jarman of Litchfield; sisters, Diane (the Rev. Jim) Wagahoff of Raymond and Nyla (Curtis) Bruhn of Gillespie; and three grandchildren, Caitlyn, Corianne and Logan Jarman.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
