Clarence "Ace" R. Hoehn, 81, of Fillmore, died Sunday, Sept. 22, 2019, at Helia Health Care Center in Taylor Springs.

Visitation will be held Monday, Sept. 30, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Miller Funeral Home in Fillmore. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Kevin Simburger officiating. Burial will be held in Bost Hill Cemetery in rural Fillmore, with military rites.

Mr. Hoehn was born Oct. 12, 1937, in Montgomery County, the son of Oscar and Margaret "Maggie" (Mindrup) Hoehn. He married Carolyn Darlene Voils on Jan. 13, 1962, in Nokomis, and she preceded him in death on June 11, 2016.

A farmer, he was a U.S. Army veteran. He enjoyed coon hunting, golfing and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by a son, Dennis (Kelly) Hoehn of Irving; daughter, Karen (David) Melton of Fillmore; grandchildren, Jana, Justin, Ben and Matt; brothers, Everett Hoehn of Fillmore and Donald Hoehn of Witt; and sisters, Lucille Barber of Lexington, KY, and Elizabeth Hoehn of Charleston.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Mark Hoehn.
