Cleola (Kasten) Brackett, 95, of Coffeen, died on Friday, Nov. 12, 2021, at Hillsboro Rehabilitation Ccnter in Hillsboro.
The funeral procession will leave Hough & Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro at 12:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 16. Graveside services and burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Hillsboro at 1 p.m. The Rev. Jeff Hemken will officiate.
Mrs. Brackett was born on May 14, 1926 in Belleville, the daughter of Richard and Cecelia Kasten. She married William Brackett on June 7, 1947 in Mentor Lodge in rural Coffeen. He proceded her in death on Dec. 19, 2006.
Mrs. Brackett was a graduate of Coffeen High School. She enjoyed watching wildlife, and loved to bake and cook since the age of five. She farmed and raised livestock with her husband until their retirement.
She is survived by her daughter Cherlyn of Coffeen. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
