Just four strokes separated Lincolnwood from a second place finish and a fourth place finish on senior night as the Lady Lancers welcomed Auburn, Ramsey and South County to town.
The Lancers, who honored seniors Sydney Herman and Stephanie Perun after the match, finished fourth with a 213 on the day. South County would be third, just two strokes ahead with a 211, while Ramsey was two strokes ahead of the Vipers in second with a 209. Auburn picked up the win behind medalist Ellie Knight, who shot a 42 to help the Lady Trojans to a 183 as a team.
Herman would shoot a 48 to pace the Lancers in her last match on her home course. Perun would finish her finale with a 57.
Jordyn Gerlach and Dorie Krager would contribute the other two scoring rounds with a 53 and a 55, while Shelby Hattenbach and Micah Gehlbach were in the five and six slots for Lincolnwood with a 62 and a 70.
Ramsey, who co-ops with Nokomis, got 52s from Sam Stokes, Brianna Hayes and Emma Sneddon, while Kourtney Janssen added a 53 for the fourth score. Brooke Benhoff also played for Ramsey, shooting a 55.
Lincolnwood and Ramsey will be heading in different directions for regionals as the Lancers go to The Rail for the Williamsville Regional on Oct. 10, while the Rams go to the Effingham Country Club for the St. Anthony Regional.
