Clyde Gunn, 78, of Lincoln, formerly of Springfield, died on Monday, Sept. 19, 2022, at St. Clara’s Rehabilitation and Senior Care in Lincoln.
A private family funeral service will be held at a later date. Cremation rites have been accorded by Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
Mr. Gunn was born Jan. 9, 1944, in Hillsboro, to Earl and Lura (Smith) Gunn.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1965 to 1968. He enjoyed NASCAR, the St. Louis Cardinals and the Dallas Cowboys.
Mr. Gunn is survived by his daughter, Ginger (Jason) Payne; companion, Debbie Dutton; two grandchildren, Mackenzy and Chance Payne; and siblings, Bruce (Cassie) Gunn and Twila Everett.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Maynard and Merlin Gunn; and granddaughter, Allyson.
