Coffeen Elementary School teachers and staff are planning an April Fool’s Day parade to see students on Wednesday, April 1.
Staff members plan to travel in their own vehicles for the parade, meeting at Coffeen Elementary School at 9:30 a.m. to drive by student houses. Students are encouraged to stand in their front yards with their families and wave to their teachers. Social distancing measures should still be taken.
Following the parade in Coffeen, the teachers plan to go through Irving, Witt and Hillsboro area to see Coffeen and pre-K students.
“This is a great chance to show our students how much we miss them and that we are always thinking about them,” said Principal Marci Gutierrez. For more information, visit the school’s Facebook page.
