Cynthia "Cindy" E. Dixon, 73, of Litchfield, died on Thursday, Sept. 19, 2019, at St. Mary's Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

Funeral services will begin at 12 noon on Wednesday, Sept. 25, at Litchfield Family Funeral Service in Litchfield with Pastor Mike Rogers, minister at Litchfield Southern Baptist Church, officiating.  Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery near VanBurensburg.

Mrs. Dixon was born on July 17, 1946, in Carlinville, a daughter of William P. and Virginia Louis (Lott) Giller.  She married Fred Dixon on Oct. 22, 1966, in St. Claire County, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 13, 2014.

She was a homemaker and a retail antique dealer for several years.  She loved buying, collecting and selling various items.  She also enjoyed race cars and being a race car driver.  She was an avid motorcyclist, and in her free time, she enjoyed yard work and gardening.  She was a member of the Red Hat Society and Women of the Moose in Litchfield.

She is survived by her children, Lisa A. (Russell) Street of Litchfield, Tammy J. (Jerry) Watson of Dupo; stepchildren Mike (Becky) Dixon of Hillsboro, Karen G. (Keith) Durbin of Coffeen, Rhonda I. Huber of Taylor Springs; sisters Judy Bartley of Lincoln, AR; and Betty Lou McGuire of Carlinville; nine grandchildren, 11 step grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 15 step great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Bunny L. Seis; a great-grandson, Brayden L. Kessler; a step granddaughter and a step grandson; brothers, William, Bobby and Jim Giller; and a sister, Isabelle Serrano.
