Cyruss James “C.J.” Millburg, 42, of Girard, died suddenly on Friday, Sept. 9, 2022, at Carlinville Area Hospital.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, Sept. 13, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Airsman and Calvert Funeral Home in Virden. Funeral services will follow, beginning at 6 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Ryan Crawley officiating. Cremation will be accorded and a private family burial next to his grandfather will be held at a later date at Farmington Cemetery.
Mr. Millburg was born Nov. 27, 1979, in Springfield.
He was raised the in Church of the Nazarene in Auburn.
Mr. Millburg loved four-wheeling, camping, fishing and mushroom hunting. His greatest love in life was his three children and spending time with them, especially in their swimming pool.
He is survived by the love of his life and mother of his children, Kelly Seaton of Girard; children, Cameron, Paxton and Mallory Millburg; father, Stanley James Millburg; mother and stepfather, Jamie and Wade Hamilton; brother, Adam (Mikia) Hamilton; maternal grandmother, Sharon McCarty; and nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Mr. Millburg was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Howard and Velma Millburg; and maternal grandfather, William McCarty.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to his children in care of Kelly Seaton and will be received by the funeral home.
