Dale Edmund Eccles, 81, of Clearwater, FL, formerly of Panama, died Monday, Dec. 4, 2023.
Services for Mr. Eccles will be held at a later date. Hough and Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Eccles was born on Aug. 21, 1942, in Panama, to the late Donald and Dorothy Eccles. He graduated from Panama High School and went on to work as an electronics technician. He served in the U.S. Army, and was an avid Ham radio operator and motorcyclist, and loved to read. He had a deep passion for music and playing his guitar.
Mr. Eccles married Geraldine Thacker on March 24, 1964, and she preceded him in death on Feb. 13, 2022.
He is survived by his daughter, Janet Johnson of Clearwater, FL; granddaughter, Amanda Killen; great-grandson Sebastian Kyle Killen; and siblings Deanna Everett, Debby O’Dell, Don Eccles, Darrel Eccles and Darla Wilman.
In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Eccles is preceded in death by his grandson, Justin Kyle Adams.
