Darlene A. Hull, 88, of Litchfield, died on Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2019, at 5:45 a.m. at Heritage Health: Therapy and Senior Care in Litchfield.
Visitation will be held Monday, Nov. 25, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Litchfield Family Funeral Service. Funeral services will follow, beginning at 12 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Fred Kramer, minister of Zion Lutheran Church in Litchfield, officiating. Burial will take place in Elmwood Cemetery in Litchfield.
Mrs. Hull was born Dec. 13, 1930, in Quincy, to Virgil and Ruth (Tank) Coulson. She married Laurence Hull on Jan. 1, 1949, in Quincy, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 15, 1978.
During her career, she worked as a CNA in Quincy, Litchfield and Naples, FL, and owned and operated "Mom's Shirt Shack" in Litchfield. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and Zion Ladies Aid.
Mrs. Hull is survived by her sons, Jack Hull of Palmyra, MO, Billy (Georgia) Hull, Dale P. (Pam) Hull, both of Litchfield, and Larry A. (Janet) Hull of Atwater; daughters, Linda (Kenneth) Felsman of Savoy and Judith A. Stroup of Decatur; 15 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and sisters, Virginia (Don) Maas of Mendon, Louise (Harley) Daugherty of LaGrange, MO, and Mary Wertsburger of Quincy.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; infant daughter, Cathy; grandsons, Matthew Hull, Philip Hull and Dan Gurley; great-grandson, Jordan Hull; brother, Russell Coulson; aunt, Ginny Keck; daughter-in-law, Karen Hull; and son-in-law, Louis Gurley.
Memorials may be directed to Zion Lutheran Church in Litchfield.
