David Anderson, 57, of Nokomis, died Wednesday, March 4, 2020, at his residence.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Hough and Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Anderson was born May 24, 1962, in Chaffee, MO, to William Anderson and Nancy (Allen) Herpstreith.
He was a construction roofer.
Mr. Anderson is survived by one daughter, Misty Carter of Collinsville; two sons, David (Tanya) Anderson of Collinsville and David Anderson of Witt; five grandchildren and one on the way; siblings, Denise (Rodger) Buske of Texas, Rebecca Goughenour of Mt. Olive, Nancy (Kurt) Halleman of Witt, Katrina Boliard of Nokomis, Richard Herpstreith of Witt, Susan Shears of Taylorville, Kevin (Patty) Herpstreith of Nokomis, James Herpstreith of Mt. Olive, Charles (Cindy) Herpstreith of Taylorville and Robert Herpstreith of Taylorville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by stepfather, Merle Herpstreith; daughter, Bobbie Jean Anderson; three brothers, Douglas Anderson, and David and Gary Herpstreith.
