David Ray Chapman, 60, of Wilsonville, died Saturday, Aug. 22, 2020, at 11:04 a.m. at Aperion Care in Litchfield.
No public services will be held. Kravanya Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Mr. Chapman was born Aug. 20, 1960, in Maryland, to Ralph and Patricia (Ruemmler) Chapman Sweet.
He was a cabinet maker for Duracraft Kitchens. He was a member of the Wilsonville Volunteer Fire Department, Benld and Wilsonville Sportsmen’s Club, Progressive Club and Honorary Chapter Farmer for Gillespie FFA.
Mr. Chapman is survived by his sons, Don Chapman and Ron (special friend Brittany) Chapman, both of Benld and Christ (Veronica) Chapman of Effingham; grandchildren, Hannah, Cailee, Max and Doris; siblings, Ralph Fry Chapman, Jr. of Springfield, Andy Chapman of Wilsonville and Nancy Cox of Litchfield; and nephew, Kurtis Cox of Litchfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
