Dawn Marie “Gypsy” Beiermann, 65, of Benld, formerly of Mt. Olive, died Thursday, Aug. 20, 2020, at 7:57 p.m. at her residence.
Visitation will be held Friday, Aug. 28, from 7 to 8 p.m. at Becker and Son Funeral Home in Mt. Olive. A memorial service will follow at 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Beiermann was born Aug. 8, 1955, in Litchfield to Charles and Eleanor (Grman) Miller. She married Timothy Scott Beiermann on Sept. 1, 2000, in Carlinville, and he survives.
She attended Mt. Olive public schools and Mt. Olive High School. She was a manager for several area bars. She loved live music and music events.
An avid reader, she enjoyed Bingo, gambling, playing cards and NASCAR driver Kyle Busch. She loved her dog, Baja, and was an avid sports fan, especially for the Blues and Cardinals. Her true love was visiting with her family.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Karrie (Greg) Scheller and Kathy (companion Dave Pieper) Stephens, both of Mt. Olive; one son, Ryan (Nicole) Beiermann of Litchfield; eight grandchildren, Jarrod, Joey, Trent, Payton, Drake, Owen, Sydnie and Lucas; two brothers, Charles (Donna) Miller and Edward (Rose) Miller, both of Mt. Olive; and two great-grandchildren, Addyson and Kianna.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, David and Jimmy Miller.
Memorials may be made to the Mt. Olive Academic Foundation or Shriner’s Hospitals for Children.
