Deanna “Dee Dee” Brault, 70, of Martinton, died on Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2022, at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Inurnment will be held Tuesday, Sept. 27, beginning at 2 p.m. at Elm Lawn Cemetery in Litchfield with the Rev. Allen Hughes officiating. Clancy-Gernon-Houk Funeral Home in St. Anne is assisting the family.
Mrs. Brault was born June 2, 1952, in Litchfield, to Calvin and Rosetta (Hughes) Price. She married Merle Brault, and he preceded her in death.
During her career, she worked as a processor at a local pharmaceutical company for over 30 years.
Mrs. Brault loved to travel and spend time with friends and family. She was a wonderful cook who would deliver homemade candies to friends and family every Christmas. She loved spending time in her garden and doing crossword puzzles and Sudoku.
She is survived by her son, Jeremiah (Pamela) Hebert of Perryville, MO; three daughters, Rosetta Hebert of Kankakee, Stephanie (Jose) Tapanes of Aurora and Stacie Lindroth of Naples, FL; two sisters, Brenda (Jim) Marquis of Green Forest, AR, and Lyn (Ken) Kluever of Crossett, AR; and eight grandchildren, Alison (Josh) Washington of Channahon, Tayler (fiance Gage) McKenna Goldtrap of Carbondale, Peyton Lindroth of Oviedo, FL, Jadyn Lindroth of Altamonte Springs, FL, Isabella Hebert of Tupelo, MS, Dale Hebert and Dayanna Hebert, both of Kankakee.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Brault was preceded in death by her parents; and grandparents, Ed and Ada Hughes.
