Delma Roberta Gruber, 80, of Lake Kiowa TX, died on Tuesday, May 7, 2019, at Presbyterian Hospital in Denton, TX.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, May 13, at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Gainesville, TX, with Brother Hollis Parsons officiating. Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to service time. Interment will be at DFW National Cemetery on Tuesday, May 14, at 1:30 p.m.
Mrs. Gruber was born on Jan. 10, 1939, to William Arthur and Lola Gertrude (Carver) True in Hillsboro. She married Ronald Lee Gruber Sept. 23, 1957, in Tampa, FL, and he survives.
She was of the Lutheran faith and had been employed as a bookkeeper.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Michael (wife Tammy) Gruber of Lewisville, TX; daughter, Ronda (husband Peter) Schneider of Florida; grandchildren, Allison Strickland, Jennifer Schneider, Michael "Brad" Gruber, and Melissa Cole; step-grandchild, Stephanie Villegas; sisters, Sandy Hicks and Shirley Tyrolt; and a brother, William True.
