Delmar EuGene Fletcher, 74, of Creal Springs, died Sunday April 23, 2023.
Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on July 15 at Cress Hill Cemetery in Hillsboro. Hough and Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro is in charge of local arrangements.
Mr. Fletcher was born Feb. 11, 1949 a son of Marvel Lee Fletcher and Carrie Mae (Gerley) Fletcher. He married Veronica Ann Lane in December of 1965, and she preceded him in death in 1989.
He served as a deputy sheriff for the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department for over 20 years. He was a beloved father and grandfather. He loved being around his family, friends and horses.
Mr. Fletcher is survived by his daughter Crystal (Rusty) Wallace of Litchfield, son Del Gene (Carol) Fletcher of Creal Springs, daughter Dakota Fletcher of Creal Springs, and daughter Rylie Fletcher of Creal Springs; six grandchildren, Katie Wallace of Litchfield, Taylor (Gerrid) Rose of Colorado Springs, CO., Shane (Heather) Wallace of Pocahontas, Summar (Blaine) Burk of Johnston City, Peyton Fletcher of St. Peters, MO., Jordan Bradford, Jr. of Creal Springs, and four great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Kenneth Fletcher of Litchfield, sister Angela Maguire of Walshville and several nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents and wife, he is preceded by his daughter, Katie Sue Fletcher and three sisters, Karen Mount, Nancy Kloth and Julie Bell Light.
