Dennis J. Grote, 65, died Thursday, Aug. 27, 2020, in St. Louis, MO.
A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, Sept. 24, at 2 p.m. at Bopp Chapel in Kirkwood, MO.
Mr. Grote was born May 5, 1955. He was an outdoorsman at heart, and his true passion in life was fishing and being outdoors. Previously a hunter, he shifted his energy to conservation and preservation in his later years.
He was very creative and enjoyed taking a hands-on approach to life. He could always be found in his Bass Tracker on a local lake with his loyal canine companions, Sam and Sue. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
A dear cousin, uncle and buddy to many, he is survived by daughter, Jessica (Ervin) Tarrant; son, Jason (Alex) Grote; step-granddaughter, Chelsea Williams; and brother, Robert Wulfert.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Ann and sister, Doris Fleck.
