Dennis John Millburg, 69, of Morrisonville, died on April 7, 2026, in Springfield.
No services will be held at this time and per his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.
Mr. Millburg was born on April 3, 1957, to the late Ralph John and Rita Marie (Fahl) Millburg. On June 8, 1979, he married Kimberly Ann Bethard at St. Maurice Catholic Church in Morrisonville, and they spent many loving years together before his passing.
He farmed throughout his life and was the owner of A and D Trucking INC. in Morrisonville for 35 years. He was an active member of both Knights of Columbus and of Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association (OOIDA) for many years. Outside of work, he found joy in spending time outdoors and especially loved hunting and fishing. Above all, he loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Mr. Millburg is survived by his loving wife, Kim Millburg of Morrisonville; children, Ashley (Michael) Poleon of Morrisonville and Doug (Rayanna Anderson) Millburg of Morrisonville; grandchildren, Sydney Poleon (Joey Patterson) of Morrisonville, Mackenzie Poleon of Morrisonville, Krystian Millburg of Morrisonville, Aiden Millburg of Nokomis and Kinley Thayer of Morrisonville; sister, Debbie (Bob) Gonzales of San Antonio, TX; and two nieces, Stephanie Cockrel of Prosper, TX, and Brittany Gonzales of San Francisco, CA.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
