Diana Dean Schwab, 88, of Princeton, KY, formerly of Litchfield, died in Princeton in the early morning hours of Tuesday, July 14, 2026.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 17, at Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield. The Rev. Gary Schwab, ThD, of First Presbyterian Church will officiate. Burial will follow in Smith Grove Cemetery in rural Greenville. Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Schwab was born in Hillsboro on April 8, 1938, a daughter of Russell Miller and Mary Drucilla (Wright) Cox. She first married Donald Ernest Gipson, and he preceded her in death in 1968. She married Louis Andrew Schwab in Hillsboro on Sept. 4, 2008, and he preceded her in  death on April 8, 2014. She was a nurse’s aide, caring for many patients of various area nursing homes, hospitals and in-home care. She enjoyed quilting, working on puzzles and gardening.

She is survived by her sons, Lonnie (Rhoda) Gipson of Litchfield and Darold Gipson of Nokomis; daughters, Clara Gipson of Nokomis, Beth (companion Bob McGaughy) Gipson of Centralia and Mary Blankenship of Raymond; grandchildren, Kiry (Kent) Aumann, Katlin Harbaugh, Elijah (Taryn) Liske, Hannah (Zac) Liske, Mallory Gipson, Heather Gipson, Dustin Gipson, Danielle (Nathan) Gipson and Courtney Gipson; great-grandchildren, Kennedi Aumann, Kenley Aumann, Kyler Ferguson, Keshlynn Wiese, Morgan Smoot, Chloe Smoot, Autumn Kitchens, Logan Gipson, Levi Gipson, Lennon Gipson, Gunner Ray Scarborough, Reese Scarborough, Lucas Gipson, Jax Massey and Liam Massey.

Mrs. Schwab was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Mary Cox; husbands, Donald Gipson and Louis Schwab; son, Ronald L. Gipson; grandson, Nicholas Gipson; and siblings, Leroy Cox, Mildred Clark, Barb McDonald and Louise Jackson.
