Dianna E. Riley Hamby, 73, of Irving, died Saturday, July 11, 2020, at her residence.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, July 16, at 10 a.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery in Hillsboro. Everyone is encouraged to follow CDC guidelines, wearing masks and social distancing. Hough and Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Hamby was born Sept. 2, 1946, in Springfield, to Loren and Lavina Robinson. She married Michael J. Gorman, and they later divorced. She then married Clarence “Jr” Hamby on March 4, 1989, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 4, 2006.
She is survived by her companion, Dale Dowalder; four sons, Michael “Mikey” Gorman of Hillsboro, John (Selena) Gorman of Waggoner, Robert (Heather) Gorman of Farmersville and Ryan (Karen) Gorman of Girard; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and numerous stepchildren and stepgrandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Phyllis Boyle.
