Donald Eugene “Don” Oller, 68, of Witt, died on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2020, at 10:20 a.m. at Heritage Manor in Pana.

Visitation will be held Friday, Aug. 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home in Nokomis.

Mr. Oller was born Aug. 25, 1951, in Decatur, to James “Jim” Leonard and Thelma “Evelyn” Chambers-Oller. He married Donna Ealey, the mother of their three children, and they later divorced.

He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, who served from 1969 to 1977. While in active service, he worked on military vehicles as a mechanic in the motor pool. After being honorably discharged, he began his career as a truck driver, retiring after 37 years.

Mr. Oller really enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by his daughter, Becky Emerson of Harvel; son, Doug Oller of Shelbyville; grandchildren, Lexi Emerson, Callie (Logan) Redmon, Allison Emerson, Laura Oller and Andrew Oller; and siblings, Mick (Nancy) Oller of Kincaid, Pam White of Tory, TN, Bob (Vickie) Oller of Ramsey, Joe (Theresa) Oller of Taylorville, Tim Oller of Witt, Joan Oller of Fillmore, Paul Oller of Greenville, SC, Carol Strain and Dorene Robbins, both of Litchfield.

Mr. Oller was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Kristina “Kristy” Bandy; and his ex-wife, Donna.
