Donald Ray Tolliver, 59, of Irving, died on Thursday, Dec. 25, 2025, at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.
A graveside service will be held at Irving Cemetery on Friday, Jan. 9, at 11 a.m. A Celebration of Life will follow at the Century House in Irving at 11:30 a.m. Hough-Dean is assisting the family.
Mr. Tolliver was born in Hillsboro on Jan. 31, 1966, to George P. and Virginia L. (Eades) Tolliver. He worked mechanically on cars and trucks most of his life. He was always bartering for a good deal.
Mr. Tolliver married Tammy Riley and they later divorced. He married Bonnie Summers; they later divorced.
Mr. Tolliver is survived by his stepchildren, Jimmy Riley of Ramsey, Teri Riley of Hillsboro, Brittany Summers of Witt, Nichole Hockett, Anthony Summers and Cliff Summers; grandchildren; brothers, Phil (Teresa) Tolliver of Irving, Marc (Ashley) Tolliver of Nevada, MO, Bill Tolliver of Irving and Larry (Glenna) Tolliver of Morrisonville; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Tolliver was preceded in death by his grandparents, Oscar and Pauline Eades and Bill and Mallie (Jackson) Tolliver; brother, David Lynch; and his nephew, Travis Tolliver.
