Doris Elaine Roe, 91, of Springfield, died on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2020, at 7:38 a.m. at Concordia Village in Springfield.
Visitation will be held Thursday, Nov. 19, from 10 to 10:30 a.m. at Staab Funeral Home in Springfield. Funeral services will follow, beginning at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Brooks Wilson officiating. Burial will take place at Greenhill Cemetery in Sullivan. CDC guidelines will be followed.
Mrs. Roe was born March 3, 1929, in Bingham, to Henry and Irma (Dubree) Roe.
She was a member of South Side Christian Church.
During her career, Mrs. Roe worked at Hillsboro National Bank, then served as Hillsboro deputy city clerk. She moved to Springfield and became the office manager at Coca Cola Bottling Company.
Later, she served as a supervisor of data entry at Statistical Tabulating Corporation. She retired from Franklin Life Insurance Company in 1990.
Mrs. Roe is survived by her two nieces, Sandra Bordick and Patti Krizman.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Norma Welsh and Wanda Riccio.
