Dorothy Agnes Wagner, 96, of Litchfield, died on Sunday, Aug. 23, 2020, at 8:50 a.m. at Heritage Health: Therapy and Senior Care in Litchfield.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, Aug. 25, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, Aug. 26, beginning at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Gary Schwab of the First Presbyterian Church in Litchfield officiating. Burial will follow in Elm Lawn Cemetery in Litchfield. Due to CDC guidelines, social distancing and masks will be required.

Mrs. Wagner was born March 21, 1924, to Raymond and Mary (Westbrook) Daniels. She married Harry Jacob Wagner on Dec. 20, 1941, in St. Charles, MO, and he preceded her in death on Oct. 16, 1990.

During her career, she served as a certified nursing assistant at the old St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield, as well as the Roller Derby Skate Corp. in Litchfield.

Mrs. Wagner was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Litchfield and Women of the Moose in Litchfield. She enjoyed camping and traveling with her husband in their motor home.

She is survived by her son, Harry E. “Gene” (Bev) Wagner of White City; three daughters, Judith Reynolds of Litchfield, Patricia (Larry) Shaw of Hamel and Mary Thiessen of Litchfield; 13 grandchildren, Scott (Sheryll) Rentz, Craig (Karen) Rentz, Stephanie (Kevin) Hickerson, Brandon (Kelly) Wagner, Keith (Roxanne) Shaw, Kimberly (Chris) Cooper, Dawn Shaw, Kevin (Ellen) Thiessen, Vickie Uchtman, Rebecca (Robert) Barnes, Blaise (Tracy) Davidson, Jake (Amy) Davidson and Thad (Tonya) Davidson; great-grandchildren, Garrett Rentz, Tyler Rentz, Ashley Hickerson, Morgan Wagner, Aleece Wagner, Carson Wagner, Kelcie and Matthew Bradham, Kylee and Josh Pelc, Keegan, Skylar and Kandace Shaw, Tyler and Laney Cooper, Jeremy Uchtman, Tyler Thiessen, Marisa (Austin) Ahmann, Zachary (Meredith) Barnes, Nathan (Kelsey) Barnes, Tina (Dustin) Jones, Chance (Kayla) Davidson and Coy, Dolan, Dalton, Collin and Brady Davidson; and great-great-grandchildren, Audrey Bradham, Yelana Davidson, Oliver Davidson, Kingston Jones, Sawyer Jones, Lily Davidson and Delilah Davidson.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Wagner was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Della Davidson; one brother; and two sisters.

Memorials may be directed to the Montgomery County Cancer Association or First Presbyterian Church in Litchfield.
