Dorothy L. Roach, 93

Dorothy Louise Roach, 93, of Raymond, died at 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 25, 2021, at Montgomery County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Taylor Springs. 

Funeral services will begin at 12 noon on Tuesday, Nov. 30, at Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield with the Rev. Ralph Ward officiating.  Burial will be in Asbury Cemetery in Raymond.  Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at the funeral home. 

Mrs. Roach was born on March 30, 1928, in Waggoner, a daughter of Earl Joseph and Lola B. (Norton) Welge.  In her early years, she worked at the Brown Shoe Company in Litchfield, Berry Nursing Home, and was a cook for Raymond Lincolnwood schools and the White Cottage Café in Raymond.  She later dedicated her time to being a homemaker.  She married Fred Aubrey Roach on April 6, 1946, in Girard, and he preceded her in death on June 12, 2018. 

She was a member of A Community of Faith Church in Raymond and the Waggoner American Legion Auxiliary.  She enjoyed reading, gardening, and traveling in her spare time. 

She is survived by three sons, Freddie (Christie) Roach of Hillsboro, Scott (Lynda) Roach of Orange City, FL, and Jamie (Angie) Roach of Ocala, FL; a daughter, Amy (Richard) Reincke of Hillsboro; ten grandchildren, Tammy (Wendell) Robinett, Michael (Kim) McIntyre, Michele (David) Pilon, Melanie Tyszko, Chris Roach, Shannon (Jack) Law, Stephanie (BJ) Rabich, Matthew (Jamie) Reincke, Lucas (Melanie) Reincke, and Shiloh Roach; 12 great-grandchildren, Marissa Robinett, Ashley Robinett, Michael McIntyre, Kaylee Pilon, Zoe Tyszko, Eli Tyszko, Finn Tyszko, Sage Roach, Cyler Roach, Jayce Roach, Arianna Roach, and Sadie Roach; and three great-great-grandchildren, triplets Arlo, Wilder, and Jax Lohman.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Sheila McIntyre; two brothers, Clarence Welge and Robert Welge; and two sisters, Marcella Woods and Frances Waldeck Reener.
