Eileen Marie Tamborini, 93, of Vandalia, formerly of Ramsey, died on Wednesday, April 22, 2020, at Fayette County Hospital in Vandalia.
Private graveside services with interment will be held at Ramsey Cemetery with Pastor Terry Sapp officiating. Miller Funeral Home in Ramsey is assisting the family.
Mrs. Tamborini was born May 11, 1926, in Princeton, IN, to William and Josephine Marie (Geis) Wildt-Fearn. She married Pete Orvil Tamborini on Oct. 19, 1946, in Evansville, IN, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 19, 1979.
She was a homemaker who formerly served as clerk for First National Bank and Joe’s Market, both in Ramsey.
Mrs. Tamborini was a former member of Ramsey United Methodist Church and was affiliated with Ramsey Christian Church.
She is survived by her four grandchildren, Amy Gresham of Sherman, Lisa (David) Adams of Athens, Renee (Marc) Frederick of Lebanon and Chad (Erica) Tamborini of Lee’s Summit, MO; eight great-grandchildren, Luke, Molly, Jack, Charlie, Elena, Julia, Evie and Conner; and longtime family friend, Luann Tamborini of Ramsey.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Tamborini was preceded in death by her son, David Tamborini; daughter, Donna Hankley; son-in-law, Robert Hankley; and stepfather, David Fearn.
Memorials may be directed to Ramsey Christian Church.
