Elsie Lorraine Budd, 90, of Litchfield, died on Saturday, May 11, 2019, at 8:37 p.m. at Evergreen Place in Litchfield.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 15, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 16, beginning at 11 a.m. at Christian Church of Litchfield with Pastor Skyler Elmer officiating. Burial will follow in Elm Lawn Cemetery in Litchfield.

Mrs. Budd was born April 26, 1929, in Taylorville, to George Taylor and Goldie Edith (Disney) Ealey. She married Alfred Richard Budd, Jr. on Nov. 18, 1943, in Springfield, and he preceded her in death on Feb. 28, 2003.

She began her working career at F.W. Means Clean Towel Service, and went on to serve as a certified nurse's aide at HSHS St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield and a home health caregiver for Care Inn (Litchfield Healthcare Center).

Mrs. Budd was a member of the Christian Church of Litchfield, where she volunteered her time for several church functions. She enjoyed gardening and doing yard work, loved spending time with her family and was an avid Cardinals fan.

She is survived by three sons, Donald Budd of Channahon, Bill (Marilyn) Budd of Springfield and Wayne (Linda) Budd of Litchfield; two daughters, Diana (David) Parsons of Litchfield and Wanda (Don) Wagner of Mendenhall, MS; brother, Rock (Eileen) Ealey of Tucson, AZ; sister, Eileen (Terry) Callerman of Girard; son-in-law, Eugene Perrine of Vicksburg, MS; 15 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Budd was preceded in death by her parents; son, John Budd; daughter, Linda Perrine; four brothers, Dale, Charles, Bill and Lester Ealey; and four sisters, Helen Parks, Martha Jane Befort, Bernice Bottoms and infant sister Charlotte.
