Evelyn M. Vincent, 96, of Taylor Springs, formerly of Bingham, died on Sunday, Dec. 22, 2019, at Montgomery Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Taylor Springs.

Visitation will be held Friday, Dec. 27, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in rural Ramsey. Funeral services will follow, beginning at 11 a.m. at the church with Pastors Gregg Shannon and Stefan Munker co-officiating. Burial will be held in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in rural Ramsey. Miller Funeral Home of Ramsey is assisting the family.

Mrs. Vincent was born Oct. 9, 1923, in Bingham, to Delbert Francis and Sadie (Stricklen) Craig. She married Victor Dale Vincent April 14, 1945, in Bayle City, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 26, 2007.

She was a homemaker and served as a country school teacher, teaching in Ramsey schools, and retired as an activity director at Hillsboro Nursing Home.

Mrs. Vincent was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in rural Ramsey.

She is survived by her sons, Vaughn (Ginny) Vincent or Roach, MO, and Todd (Debbie) Vincent of Martinsville; daughter, Carol (Bob) Calvert of Hillsboro; grandchildren, Mary Mutchler, Josh, Caleb, Jacob and Stephanie Vincent and Brian, Roger and Troy Hipsher; stepgrandchildren, Kris Taylor and Britt Calvert; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Vincent was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Vickie Sue; two brothers, Dale and Francis; and two sisters, Anna and Edna.

Memorials may be directed to Mt. Carmel Cemetery in rural Ramsey.
