Artist Carol Fleming donated a beautiful piece of wall art entitled “Sun Rays” to Lake Lou Yaeger recreational area.
Fleming, and her husband, Larry Marks, installed this steel frame-ceramic tile artwork on the wall of Milnot Beach House for beach visitors to enjoy.
Incorporating art into communities is very important to Fleming. She has been creating art in her studio since 1988, and specializes in designing site-specific and one-of-kind artwork in clay. She has placed artwork in residential, educational and corporate landscapes. She has a few other pieces in mind for the recreational area, and has been working with Litchfield Lake and the Tourism Department to see her vision through.
The city of Litchfield is very grateful for her generosity, and her willingness to use her talent to beautify the city, and share artwork with the public.
Now, it will always be sunny at Milnot Beach. Anyone who is interested in learning more about Fleming’s artwork may visit www.carolfleming.com.
